What Happens When Ashio AI Learns Your Creative Language?

Some ideas just stick with you.

I first connected with Junyi Chen through our shared roots at Drexel University, where we both serve on the Advisory Board for the Fashion Industry & Merchandising program. We finally met in person at FashCon 2025 in Philadelphia earlier this year, and we started talking about the intersection of fashion and tech. That’s when he told me about Ashio.

What he described was more than a tool. It was a vision. Ashio AI is redefining what creative control looks like in the age of generative technology. Built for creatives by a technologist with a fashion background, Ashio is based on an intuitive idea: AI should adapt to the designer, not the other way around.

The platform allows fashion teams to train their own custom generative models using sketches, garments, or branded visuals. Instead of a one-size-fits-all prompt, you get on-brand content that actually reflects your taste; fast, fluid, and endlessly customizable.

In a time when fashion is rethinking how it creates, Ashio offers a future where innovation doesn't come at the expense of intuition. It’s about scaling creativity, not replacing it.

We’re thrilled to feature Junyi’s story on today’s Center Stage Exchange episode. Watch the full video to see Ashio in action, and to rethink how creativity and technology can actually collaborate.
